Back on February 9th, the Meteors upset the Hawks in blowout fashion 84-64 at T.F. North. The two squads met again Tuesday night for a sectional semifinal at Hillcrest.

The Hawks were looking to return the favor Tuesday night, and were successful in doing so with home court on their side. The Hawks jumped to a 40-25 lead at halftime outscoring the Meteors 21-12 in the second quarter.

The Meteors would attempt a comeback in the second half led by sharp shooting junior Chase Abraham. Abraham finished the game with 24 points off the bench, including 16 in the second half. He was 4/6 from three and 10/11 at the line. The Meteors outscored the Hawks 17-11 in the third quarter.

Abraham drained a three to cut the deficit to 6 with 3:24 left. It would be the Meteors' final points of the season as the Hawks finished the game on a 12-0 run en route to a 74-56 sectional semifinal win.

Quentin Heady dominated inside the paint as he led the Hawks with 31 points. Bryce Tillery and Reuben 'Tolu' Samuels each had 15 points. Meteors star guard Jevon Warren had 21 points and was a perfect 7/7 at the line.

The Meteors finish the season 20-6.
